Survival Apocalypse Is Here Today – Are You Ready?

Are you ready for your own Survival Apocalypse?

More prescient than the author realized.  Survival prepping now required.

As you probably know the story arc for the Survival Apocalypse Series takes place beginning 89 years after the SHTF due to an EMP from the sun. America at this point is a not very healthy, sparsely populated agrarian, and sometimes cannibalistic society hopefully on the mend. However, society has always been thus starting from 3 weeks to a year after the power first blinked. The Choccolocco Valley is simply a continuation. Things haven’t changed much.

Several years ago when I first made my Survival Apocalypse calculations it was all surmise. Today in early 2022 as I write this we’re in it! Barring a miracle our present man caused disaster is fully on track to play out in the coming months. I postulate that it can go one of two ways. We’ll either devolve to a Venezuela situation where dogs and cats are valued more as food than pets or the power will fail and in the blink of an eye this nation will be back to the stone age. The world would surely follow shortly.

The latter outcome in particular presents two choices. One could jump off the house onto one’s head or one could prepare and survive. Which camp would you be in? Personally I not only vote for the latter but I am implementing the latter.

Knowing the SHTF literature as I must I confess that I didn’t do much about it until recently when the writing became very apparent on the wall. I’m full steam ahead chinking up the cracks in my cabin. The basics are good water, food, and heat. I’m well ahead on these necessities. How about you?

It is wise to understand that ammo alone won’t save you. Aside from intrusions by the unprepared it is foolish to think that you can hunt yourself out of trouble. Wildlife will dwindle quickly as there will be much competition from other hungry hunters. Praying is good. You should be in church. But as we know God helps those who help themselves. You know better than to trust in man. Food banks will likely hold on to what they have for themselves. So what’s the answer?

Grow your food, and if you can’t do that hook up with someone in the country within walking distance who can. In the meantime make sure that you have a drinkable source of water and a filtration method. This will come in handy the first time you get thirsty. Then make sure you have a dependable source of heat for the winter aside from your all electric or all gas house.

The Survival Apocalypse comes in two stages for the prepared. The first phase is where stored food comes in handy. The second phase is when that food runs out. That’s where gardens, seed, the ability to grow things and store things come in followed by the knowledge of how to save seed for the next year. Of those who survive the first phase, many fewer will survive the second.

Today while the power is still operating, and you still have the ability to read this, if you are to survive you must learn how. It CAN be done. There are more tested survival videos online than you have time to watch. But watch them you must. Make written or printed notes. Make a survival plan for your situation and learn how to make it work.

As I write this in April time is growing short. I must assume you are reading this some time later. Each day that goes by that you fail to begin in earnest to prepare takes days off your life. At the present time the country is still in denial and supplies are still plentiful. Hopefully this remains the case as you read. However, if you wait too late stocking up becomes ever more difficult and even perilous.

God bless you and keep you always.
